What prerequisites are there for Hosted Exchange 2003?

Frontgate recommends Windows XP (SP1) with Q331320 hotfix, or Windows XP (SP2) in order to be able access your mailbox with Microsoft Outlook 2003 using the RPC over HTTP protocol. Other operating systems are supported, but may require the use of a VPN connection to access your Hosted Exchange mailbox.
